General
Regular pool servicing (weekly, fortnightly or monthly), green pool recovery, repairs to pumps, filters, chlorinators and salt cells, and supply and installation of pool equipment, lighting and covers. We work for home owners, strata buildings and property managers.
We service pools across Sydney. Let us know your suburb when you get in touch and we'll confirm we can help.
It depends on how much the pool is used, how many trees are around it and the time of year. Busy pools and pools under trees do best weekly in summer. Most pools are well looked after on a fortnightly service, and monthly suits pools that are lightly used or well covered. We will recommend a frequency after the first visit.
Yes. We look after pools for owners corporations, strata managers and real estate agents. Every visit comes with a service report and water test results for your records, and invoicing can be set up to suit your accounts process.
Servicing and repairs
Every service visit includes before and after photos, a full water test with a WaterLink Spin Touch, balancing the chemistry, emptying the skimmer and pump baskets, netting the surface, brushing the walls and steps, vacuuming, and checking the filter and equipment. You get a written report with the test results after every visit.
Yes. Most green pools can be brought back with a heavy chemical treatment, brushing, vacuuming and filter cleaning over two visits. Pools that have been neglected for a long time, or where the water chemistry has gone too far, sometimes need a full drain, clean and refill. Send us photos with your enquiry and we can usually tell you which one you need.
Yes. We diagnose and repair pumps, filters, salt chlorinators, salt cells and pool cleaners, and supply and install replacements when a repair is not worth doing. We will always tell you which option makes more sense.
Pricing, booking and payment
It depends on the size of the pool, how often it is serviced and how much chemical it needs. Servicing is charged per visit, and chemicals are charged on what is actually used. There are no lock-in contracts. Get in touch for a quote for your pool.
Fill in the contact form, call Sam on 0461 343 532 or email info@poolespools.com.au. Adding a photo of your pool and equipment helps us quote faster.
Yes. We do one-off cleans, pre-sale or pre-party cleans, green pool recoveries and repairs as well as regular servicing.
We email an invoice after the work is done, payable by bank transfer within 7 days. Strata and agency accounts can be set up on their own terms.
No. Just make sure we can get to the pool: gates unlocked or access arranged, and pets secured. If you need to cancel or move a visit, please give us 24 hours' notice.
Yes. You can change how often we come with one visit's notice, and stop the service with one month's written notice. There are no lock-in contracts.
Chemicals and water
Yes. Correctly balanced pool water is safe to swim in, and that is the point of testing on every visit. We dose to the test results rather than guessing, and we leave the water within safe ranges. After a heavy shock treatment for a green pool we will tell you when it is safe to swim again.
Yes, we service both. Saltwater pools still use chlorine; the salt chlorinator makes it from the salt in the water. We look after salt levels and the chlorinator cell as part of the service.
Other questions
Yes, across the areas we service. We check the pool's equipment and water condition before you buy or sell, and give you a written report. We do not issue pool barrier or fencing compliance certificates. In NSW those are issued by accredited certifiers and local councils.
We test every pool on every visit with a lab-grade Spin Touch tester and send you a written report with photos afterwards, so you always know what was done. We are family owned, fully insured and a SPASA member, and we look after pools for strata managers and property managers as well as home owners.
Still have a question? Tell us about your pool and we'll come back to you.
